Kite Identity

Brief

Kite needed a product identity a mobility brand could carry from the first pitch slide to the object on the shelf. We wrote the mark and the pack system as one file.

02

( The mark )

Three rules

The identity had to hold from the slide to the shelf.

( 01 )

One line

Pitch, object, and pack share one mark. A product does not get a second symbol.

( 02 )

Color stays put

Launch color sits on the ramp. It does not rewrite the object surface.

( 03 )

The next desk

A designer who was not in the room can still ship a pack on-brand.

  • Mark notes for pitch and pack

Kite

“The slide and the shelf finally read as one line of objects. Investors and retail are seeing the same Kite.”

“Norio did not hand us a naming deck. They handed us a file the product team could ship without calling the brand desk.”

“Each object stopped inventing its own mark. The ramp holds, and the line still reaches the shelf.”
